General Requests
- Pray that God would be glorified through DeepWater - this is HIS church!
- For men, women, teens, and children to hear and respond by faith to the Gospel through DeepWater's ministry
- That DeepWater Church would be such an authentic & real group of people that it would be contagious and attractive to others
- DeepWater to be a passionate worshiping church!
- That we would work with other churches on the island for Kingdom impact
- Ask the Lord to help us clearly see where we can impact the Island and beyond, specifically we are looking for ways to serve on the island
- Pray that the word would get out on the island about DeepWater and for our simple marketing & world of mouth to spread quickly between now and September 9
Plant Team Requests
- For God to give our Plant Team (about 30 adults & 20 children) the courage to become missionaries where they live, learn, work and play
- For Plant Team fellowships & leadership training over the summer that would bind us together as a faith family
- For the Plant Team to become passionate about their personal relationship with Christ
- For Plant Team members to be ready to lead DeepWater Groups
- Pray over the following Plant Team leadership topics for July:
July 8 - Pursuing Jesus Personally (Our relationship with God)
July 15 - Pursuing Jesus Corporately (Our worship together as a family)
July 22 - Loving the Island and Beyond (Sharing the Good News with our lives & words)
Ministry & Staff Requests
- Solid candidates for our part-time children's & student ministry positions
- God would increase our faith and show us His faithfulness by helping us raise $125,000 so that we can have a budget that provides for our personnel needs, ministry, mission and operational needs.
- Pray for Paul as he shares with people and sends letters regarding financial support
- Pray that the Lord would continue to give Paul, Jessica and their family the strength and passion for the work - for them to get proper rest/sabbath over the summer
- Pray for connections made at our July 1 Party in the Park at the IOP Rec (5-7pm)
- DeepWater is helping St. Mark's Lutheran with their VBC (Vacation Bible Camp) - July 24-26 - pray for much fruit and for the Kingdom work between 2 churches (St. Mark's is the church that is allowing us to use their facility for gatherings.)
Prayer Opportunity
You are invited to a Night of Prayer for DeepWater on August 12 - it starts at 5pm at St. Mark's Church on the IOP (300 Palm Blvd). Please join us if you can, it will be a wonderful night of seeking God and lifting up his work through this new church.
