Happy October!

This month has been terrifyingly AMAZING! Thanks to your support both through finances and prayer. Read on to see how your partnership helped move mountains this month!

In the month of October, we have made huge strides on moving mountains in Kampala, Uganda and in Nashville, Tennessee. We have had dozens of productive rehearsals for the musical as well as a profitable swing dancing fundraiser for our Uganda partners. Read on to find out more about the progress of the Nashville inner city musical and the refugee center in Kampala!

Seed2Mtn Musical

The students at Tom Joy Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee are now at the halfway point of their rehearsals! They have learned 5 new Christmas songs and dances as well as memorized numerous lines!
If you contributed to the Nashville mountain then your money paid for the props for this musical. From suitcases to sunglasses to a holly jolly jukebox to surfboards, this musical requires many props and your contribution is making it happen! The picture above shows the three presidents of Tom Joy Seed2Mtn Club with the surfboards they created! These students worked after school painting their surfboards while singing the songs from the musical with smiles plastered on their faces the entire time. Not only did your financial contribution give these students tangible props for the performance, but more importantly it gave them an opportunity to stay after school creating memories in a safe, positive and encouraging environment!

Seed2Mtn Refugee Center
Our work in Uganda is still in the developmental stages due to the funds needed to start construction. Once we raise enough money to finish paying off the bank loan, then we can begin building. Our "sock hop" fundraisers on Music Row on Saturday nights here in Nashville give all the proceeds to Seed to Mountain Ministries. Look out for sock hops happening in November by checking www.seedtomountain.com and clicking events!
If you contributed to the Uganda mountain then your money is sent directly to Florence Dongo who pays the land owner directly. We are thrilled that we are able to partner with a church that is dedicated to making a positive impact in their community; your financial help is moving mountains in Kampala, Uganda.

Our after school rehearsals begin Thursday November 2nd from 3-430pm, and we are in need of some helpers!
