Chair George Badey, Vice Chair Tsiwen Law, Treasurer Rob Armstrong, Secretary Danielle Kleinman
Note from the Chair

The grueling petition period is finally over, and the Primary Election slates are largely set.
Statewide, there are four judicial seats up for election: Supreme Court (one seat), Superior Court (one seat) and Commonwealth Court (two seats). The Superior and Commonwealth Court seats will have contested primaries.

At the county level we have five candidates running unopposed for three Row Offices and two seats on Delaware County Council. Candidates unopposed in the Primary for County Council are incumbent Kevin Madden and Richard Womack. Candidates unopposed in the Primary for County Row Offices are Sheriff Jerry Sanders, Register of Wills Rachel Ezzell Berry and County Controller Joanne Phillips. Also, at the county level we will have a contested primary for two seats on the Court of Common Pleas.

Locally, in Radnor, we have a fantastic slate of candidates. For Commissioner in Ward 2, Maggy Myers, a retired pediatrician who practiced at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for many years, and a long-time Radnor resident, will hopefully be the first Democrat ever elected to serve as Ward 2 Commissioner. In Ward 4, incumbent Commissioner Lisa Borowski, former President of the Board of Commissioners and School Board member who has been active in Radnor politics for over a decade, is seeking another term. For Commissioner in Ward 6, Avery Rome, a retired editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and another long-time Radnor resident, will hopefully be the first Democrat ever elected to serve as Ward 6 Commissioner. For Treasurer, an RDC committee person in 5-2, Ken Frohlich will be seeking to become the first Democrat ever elected to that position in Radnor Township. Ken was an actuary, and a corporate executive for many years, holds a doctorate degree in mathematics, then went to law school in his 60’s and is now practicing law: truly a Renaissance Man.

I look forward to seeing everyone on our Zoom meeting – this Wednesday, March 17th at 7:00 p.m.
