A Note from the Chair
Dear Radnor friends and neighbors,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family, friends and good food, but not too much political fodder...
We should all be grateful this Thanksgiving for the historic strides we made in this past election. As we head toward the new year, we will soon witness first hand the importance of our work in electing superb public officials. Democrats will soon govern Delaware County, and will continue to govern Radnor Township and its School Board. I am thankful for their extraordinary commitment on behalf of all of us, and I am thankful to all of you for your support of them in ways too numerous to count.
You will notice in our list of upcoming events that the swearing in of the various candidates begins shortly, with our newly elected Radnor School Board Members taking their oaths of office this Tuesday evening - December 3rd. Each of these ceremonies are open to the public and we welcome you with much enthusiasm to join us and celebrate our collective success.
You will also notice it’s that time of year again for the holiday gatherings of the Radnor Democrats (Sat. Dec. 7) and Delaware County Democrats (Thu. Dec. 12). These will be especially festive occasions, as I’m sure you can imagine. Again, we would be delighted and honored if you would join us for these celebrations as well.
Let us pause during the holiday season to spend quality time with family and friends, to savor our hard-earned 2019 sweeping victories, and to look forward with optimism and determination. We are on the threshold of 2020, which is for obvious reasons the most pivotal election year in our lifetimes.
Warmest wishes to you and yours,
Chair, Radnor Democratic Committee
