The first quarter of 2019 has been very busy and with the new financial year just starting it looks like the situation is going to continue.  We are forging ahead with our new Pay and Bill software (see more below) and continue to look for new and better ways of working to improve our service.

Are you keeping up to speed?

We mentioned in our last newsletter that from April employers are legally required to show the number of hours that workers are being paid for on their payslips - which was a recommentation from the Taylor Review.
Omnia Outsourcing has this covered for all workers we pay.

Permanent Payroll
In the last newsletter we highlighted we did permanent payroll too - if you are even slightly curious if you could save money ask us for a quote - it is free and there is no after sales annoying follow up.  Many firms are genuinely surprised at how much they can save.  Our package also includes a free HR Portal so you can securely give employees access to their GDPR compliant payslips and manage holidays.

National Minimum Wage
We recently distributed our new rates to existing clients, if you need to see them just click this link - 2019 NMW Rates.

Remember Auto Enrolment pension contributions increase this month, for employers this is 3% and for employees it’s 5%.

Legislation changes
One of the reasons we have such loyal clients is because we keep abreast of the regular legislation changes to make sure both us and them are compliant with the law.  We keep our clients fully updated.

Pay and Bill software
Our pay and bill software is designed by people who have many years experience in the recruitment field - it automates your timesheet process, saving time and effort.
GDPR Online Training
This training is suitable for all staff to ensure consistent awareness of data protection, as part of either induction or annual training.  Duration: 30 Minutes.
Off-payroll Private Sector consultation
HMRC has today launched its latest consultation to introduce the Off-Payroll working rules to the private sector. The Government announced this in the 2018 Budget and it is due to come into force in April 2020, the latest consultation seeks to ensure the proposals are suitable for the private sector.  If you work with contractors in the public sector you will already know how much of an issue it has created there!
