'Close Up' Winning Picture
Congratulations to Delphine from JAGS for her winning photograph in the third month of this ongoing SSLP Street Photography competition. Delphine's picture was described as a clever image fulfilling the 'Close Up' brief. See all the winners and runners up in the student, staff and junior categories.

Three lucky students will be provided with Stuart Horne Bursaries to attend an Outward Bound Leadership course in Canada this summer. Interested students will apply via their own school.

To celebrate British Science Week all SSLP Schools are invited to submit teams of three sixth-formers to the inter-school science quiz hosted jointing by Alleyn's School and the Charter School North Dulwich.

Student representatives from years 8, 10 and 12 will convene for a third session. In this session they will  put together their articles and features on the topic of the 'Peception of Youth' ready for the final publication.

This final session will provide an opportunity for teachers to share their learning and to discuss the relative merits of the teaching techniques introduced by David Didau during the first session in November.

The Opera Story is inviting students in years 7 and 8 to attend their Open Dress Rehearsal of Robin Hood on Monday 25th February, 7pm.
The London South Teaching School Alliance offers a range of training opportunities including New to Middle Leadership starting Thurs 14th March, 3:30pm.
GCSE MFL Networking Meeting
If you teach MFL at GCSE then you are invited to attend a Free MFL Networking Meeting at Ark Putney on Monday 25th March, 4-6pm.
SSLP Link teachers are encouraged to attend the Schools Together discussion meeting on "sustaining partnerships" on Tuesday 26th March, 5-7:30pm.
Applications close for the Sutton Trusts summer school programme on Thursday 28th February. Thirteen universities offer week-long residentials for Year 12s.
The CII and Personal Finance Society offer free financial awareness workshops called Discover Fortunes for years 10-13. Contact George Tsounias.
