Hello <<First Name>>,
As we near the end of this month’s GlobalGiving Accelerator—with only 3 more days to donate
—we want to tell you a quick story about an entrepreneur who could benefit from our business bootcamp, and also share our plan for the next few months.
rina Wanga faced stigma and discrimination growing up as a deaf female. She was abandoned by her husband, but now she is raising money for her son's education through her work with Sasa Designs. Merina makes beautiful earrings like the ones on the left, and sells them at a local Kenyan craft market. Sasa Designs’ entrepreneurs could benefit from i3f's and SEDC's business bootcamp and mentorship opportunities.
In the coming months, we will be sharing more stories—like Merina’s—as well as
researching and reaching out to potential Kenyan individual and corporate sponsors for the business bootcamp. If you have any recommendations, or could help us make a connection, please let us know. By expanding our network and funding sources, it will make the bootcamp a reality, as well as facilitate powerful connections for these entrepreneurs!
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
