GREENWICH ENERGY HERO DSM
The Royal Borough of Greenwich brought together two Sharing Cities solutions to demonstrate how energy management can be augmented by citizen engagement. The Digital Social Market encourages citizens to engage with and use sustainable services, shifting perceptions and changing behaviours through rewards. (+read)

AN E-BIKE LOAN SCHEME SUPPORTING LOW-CARBON SHARED MOBILITY
As part of the Sharing Cities project, Greenwich tested a borough-led electric bike-sharing scheme and a rental model to encourage the uptake of e-bikes. The scheme allowed residents to borrow an e-bike for a month for just £10 (to cover insurance). Residents then had the chance to buy the e-bike at a discount after their loan period ended. (+read)

FRESH AND HEALTHY AIR FOR THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH
Air pollution has become a pressing problem for the London Borough of Wandsworth. Green City Solutions proposed the installation of urban filters in the form of integrated moss modules to filter fine dust particles from the surrounding air whilst simultaneously producing oxygen. Along with the encouragement of active modes of transport and reallocation of street space, this project was highly effective. (+read)

SMART LAMPPOST ELECTRIC CHARGING
Through Sharing Cities, the Royal Borough of Greenwich exploited an innovative integration with smart lampposts. A London-wide data platform was able to collect often real-time data across electric and shared mobility schemes, providing insights into current and future operation of mobility services. (+read)
