"No wonder she wasn't elected": Twitter on Clinton's "unpaid internships" 

The former Democratic Party presidential candidate has a record of offering no monetary compensation to campaign staff during elections, despite enjoying large campaign war chests.

Hillary Clinton is in the news again, this time over reports that her New York City office is offering a four month autumn internship which offers no pay, stipends, or college credit. The internship positions, posted on the Clinton Foundation's website, run from mid-September to mid-December, and require "a minimum of three days per week" of work.

House and Senate interns will get paid - If congress passes this spending bill

It looks like congressional interns are going to get paid.

As lawmakers continue to negotiate spending bills to fund the government through 2019, they’ve agreed on one thing: They’ll budget in $8.8 million for House intern pay and $5 million for Senate intern pay, according to Michael Zetts, the House Democratic aide to Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH).

The provision will be part of the Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, which the two chambers are discussing this week.

In 1st key speech, new UN Human Rights chief airs concern

GENEVA (AP) - The new U.N. human rights chief warned Monday about abuses worldwide, citing among others the Trump administration's "unconscionable" separations of migrant families and urging the European Union to create a dedicated search and rescue operation for migrants in the Mediterranean sea.

Michelle Bachelet (bah-cheh-LET') made her first address to the Human Rights Council as it opened a three-week session on Monday. The former Chilean president, once a political detainee herself, became U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights this month.

GIA Drinks - Bateau Geneve
This week we will be doing our GIA drinks on a Wednesday night again, but there is a good reason for it. This is the last week that the boat will be open, and if we dont go now we'll need to wait a whole year to use it back, so we wanted you guys to have a chance to go before it closes. 

The boat has 3 floors, ours will be the one in the middle, all of the outside area and a part of the inside as well. Also, in order to get the drinks we'll need to go to the upper floor because that's where the bar is.

As always we will be selling GIA Wristabands till 10 pm
