Oh Son of the Wind (Vāyu), principal of all movement and life, remover of adversities, one with an auspicious form, and the chief among all Devas (divine beings), may you reside in our hearts along with Rāma, Lakshmān and Sitā: Please let us always remember the spirit of service and devotion that inspires and supports the presence of the union of the deep feminine with the solar masculine in each or our beings. . . . Let us act from this place of intelligent and courageous devotion to the spirit of Life Herself in All Beings!

Loving Greetings to you dear Yoni Shakti Yoginis!
Full Moon Blessings to you dear Souls,
Today is the celebration of Hanumān Jayanti - the anniversary of the birth of Hanumān. . . All of India and throughout the Hindu diaspora, millions of people will be chanting multiple recitations of the Hanumān Chalisa. In my own small way I shall contribute to this by chanting these words too .. . .
What does this mean to me, and what relevance does this Hindu devotional practice have to the work we do for the support and upliftment of the Deep Feminine?
MEETING HANUMĀN: WELCOMING SUPPORT
I first heard the Hanumān Chālisa being sung in India in 1997 and something immediately lifted my heart, and I began to learn the words. I had a kind of urgency with it - I could feel the huge power in these words in the Awadhi dialect of Hindi and I wanted to be connected to the protective and nourishing strength of these verses. Still today, I usually sing the Chālisa every day. And today I shall make a special opportunity to sing more!
I see this as a time to celebrate the strength and support that comes when we welcome the spirit of service into our lives. For Hanumān is the embodiment of service, deep intelligence, courage and power all put in devotion to Life Herself. And this work of Yoni Shakti is above all In Service to the protection, elucidation and celebration of the power of the Deep Feminine in every woman and girl, and amongst all who identify with, and seek to support and protect the Feminine in our world.
One way to understand Hanumān, the son of the wind, is to see him as the power of life to uplift and reunite us with our true nature - to see that his rescue of Sitā to bring her to Rām is a the energy of kundalini travelling through us to reunite our earthy, rooted nature in connection to our divine insights and guidance at at crown chakra - this is the journey of Hanuman and we need daily to remind ourselves that we have the power, intelligence and resilience to make this journey even when it feels impossible (like now!).
Hanumuan is also seen to be in the spirit of service to Mā - the great goddess, he brings her to places she cannot easily reach alone - And so to me, I see him also a 'team spirit' when we pull together we remind each other of our collective strength and brilliance -
YOGA NIDRA for WOMXN
And this is the very feeling I am having as I prepare the schedule for our very first Womxn only Total Yoga Nidra teacher and facilitator training course online. So many wise and powerful sisters have contributed their work to this extraordinary course.
And so as I give thanks and praise to Hanumān today I give thanks and praise to all who support this work we do together in our Team Shakti and in this course - to Sivani Mata-Francis, and Cecilia Allon, to Virginia Compton and to Lisa White, to Jessica Healy, to Yoli Maya Yeh, to Jill Watson and to Tiffany Mitchenor and Olga Chwa and to all who stand in defence, protection and nurture of the power of the Deep Feminine.
