In the 27th edition of the OSCE Talent Acquisition Newsletter, we invite you to learn more about a few of the many women, who make a difference at the world's largest regional security organization. We welcome you to join a live webinar where you will have the opportunity to meet some senior managers who lead critical portfolios at the OSCE Secretariat.

This Newsletter also highlights our 3rd Virtual Recruitment Bootcamp for Women and the Global Careers Fair where we look forward to engaging 1-to-1 with potential applicants lie you. In this issue, we additionally feature 4 new profiles of women recruited in 2020 to lead important departments at the Organization.

As a special feature, we provide you an update on the OSCE Gender Parity and share tips on communication strategies for women interviewing for jobs. Last but not least, you will find new opportunities to join us across Executive Structures.

During this live webinar, you will meet some of the talented women who lead critical portfolios at the Secretariat. They will speak about their career journeys in other international organizations or in government and will provide insights into their experiences at the OSCE. A Brief update on Gender Parity Strategy will also be provided by the Department for Human Resources.

The OSCE and other leading international organisations from the International Public Sector are looking to accelerate the process and put in place proactive actions to close the gender gap.

We are once more joining the Global Careers Fair for Women. If you’re interested in participating, register by clicking below to join us on 11th March 2021 from 11 am - 6 pm (CET) to speak with recruiters and the OSCE staff from across participating States. Candidates and recruiters will be able to engage live 1-2-1 and discuss career opportunities from the comfort of their home, office, smartphone or tablet. Join us to learn more how the world’s largest regional security organization can add to your career journey!

The OSCE Department of Human Resources will be running on 30 March and 6 April 2021 a Virtual Recruitment Bootcamp for Women interested in joining the Organization.

Participants will learn tips in completing applications and learn best practices in conducing competency-based interviews. They will also have the opportunity to practice their new skills in small virtual groups and receive feedback from recruiters. Sixty women interested in the comprehensive approach to security will be selected to attend this event conducted by the Talent Acquisition Unit. The live sessions will take place on both 30 March and 6 April from 12pm - 2pm (CET). During the first session, participants will learn about submitting stronger job applications whereas in the second, the focus will be on preparing for competency-based interviews.

Click below and complete the survey by 19 March 2021 23:59 (CET) to apply for consideration. All selected women will receive confirmation and instructions by Thursday, 25 March 2021. Non-selected applicants will still receive resources and can apply again in the future.

The OSCE Gender Parity Strategy was published in July 2019 with the objective to reach gender parity by 2026. The Department of Human Resources is one of many departments within the Organization supporting this endeavor. Find in the video  below a brief update of DHR activities in 2020. There’s still a lot more work to do so we will continue engaged and committed to this important cause.
