It's all hands on deck for a final push to finish.
It's a flurry of activity indoors, outdoors, and all around. The guys (and Magret when she isn't busy with school and children's ministry work) are painting and working on the septic and grounds. We had a cave-in (no-one was hurt) with the original septic system that would have been (and eventually will be) big enough to support all of the (future) buildings in that area. So, they have dug and installed a "plan B" manufactured system that will be adequate for this building and able to be disconnected, emptied, and moved to a different area of the property when the full system is finished. We are focussing on the projects and furnishings that are necessary for us to get licensed by the Department of Health and registered with the Department of Social Development so that all the paperwork can be submitted by the end of August deadline. The playground, exterior paint details, and exterior paving will be on the agenda during our Stateside fundraising trip.
