Tanabata Watermelon Tea Ceremony
Sunday, July 7 at 11 am

We are pleased to announce its monthly themed Open Tea Ceremony.

In July, we will hold a romantic "Tanabata" Tea Ceremony.  On the amorous occasion of the 7th Day of the 7th Month of the year, Japanese celebrate the romantic meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi, which are represented by the stars Vega and Altair. According to the legend, the Milky Way cruelly separates these two lovers, but they are allowed to meet only once a year, on this night, to enjoy each other's love.  This annual lovers' rendezvous has been occurring for centuries!

Our guest will relax and enjoy a charming watermelon tea ceremony
with beautiful tea bowls. Please kindly note that the seats are limited, so please register early. Thank you.
