“Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him.” (Psalm 105:4)
Greetings in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
As previously announced, our Consecration will be ten days of unrelentingly seeking God in prayer, starting on Monday, February 1st and ending on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
“As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.” (Psalm 42:1)
This scripture resonates with those of us who are looking for a deeper level of spiritual insight and want to abundantly live out the purpose for which we are called. Our consecration is a thrust in this direction. We will seek Him when we rise in the morning, throughout the day as we perform our various tasks, and before we go to bed at night.
Jeremiah 29:13 promises, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

The fasting options and omissions are tools to bring our bodies into subjection as we dedicate our minds and hearts to finding new levels in God. Remember to omit junk foods, caffeine, unnecessary social media, and all activities that break consecration. Please choose and continue with one of the following options...
- 10-days water only fast
- 10-days Daniel fast: no meat, no sweets
- 10-days one meal a day fast
- 10-days Intermittent fasting: no eating after 7pm – begin eating at 11 am (16 hours)
On this closing week in January, I look forward to embarking on another month of consecration. It is an opportunity to join with like-minded believers, and those with an insatiable desire to know Him on an even deeper level. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
In His Service,
Pastor Harper

Let's Focus on "Fanning the Fire"!
By Minister Jermaine Tulloch, Evangelism Director
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts:2:28)
Thank God for having a great start to the year! In January, we have had three souls baptized in Jesus Name. Also, we were blessed to have one soul receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We welcomed thirteen guests who visited on site.
Let's Celebrate!
Let's Focus on "Fanning the Fire"! What does that mean? Well, It means to spread the good news, intensify our witnessing to reach souls, stir up someone's life through encouragement, and magnify God by keeping your fire burning! Let's Continue to Fan Our Fire! Great things are happening at New Life, we want the entire city and surrounding areas to be a part of this as well! Bring your fire with you, EVERYWHERE that you go!

African Americans in Rhode Island Who Used Food to Achieve Independence
By Gloria De Paola
Among the gifts that immigrants have brought to the United States are their native cuisines. Indeed, opening a restaurant or food-related business was—and still is—a traditional recipe for financial success for first-generation Americans. And we’ve become a nation of foodies, nourished by dishes that reflect cuisines around the world, from the rustic to the most sophisticated.

“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.”

Failed Trump Prophecies Offer a Lesson in Humility
By Craig Keener
The failed prophecies of Donald Trump’s reelection may have damaged the credibility of the US independent Charismatic wing of evangelicalism more than any event since the televangelist scandals of the 1980s. They have led some outsiders to criticize Christianity itself and rightly call us to introspection.
