Shambhala Training Level IV:
Awakened Heart

with Linda Kreger

Fri April 26th: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Sat April 27th: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sun April 28th: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

In Level IV the boundaries between “us in here” and the “world out there” become more permeable. Our natural curiosity takes us deeper as our hearts open and we learn to let more of the world in, allowing ourselves to be touched without closing down out of fear and then begin to discover our inherent confidence, patience, and generosity.

Shambhala Training is a path of meditation emphasizing the development of genuine confidence. Each level includes meditation training and practice, talks by the director, individual meetings with a meditation instructor, and group discussions.

Please note that this program is being offered at a new, and reduced, price: $100
Half-price is available for those repeating the Level.

Prerequisite: Shambhala Training Level III.  Click Here to Register

Learning to Live Mindfully: Cultivating Kindness

with Shastri Mary Campbell

Monday May 13th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Kindness is an expression of love, a way of being present with oneself and others that is open, authentic and strong. It creates the atmosphere for genuine communication and harmony and has the power to transform.

Meditation practice is a gesture of kindness. In meditation we strengthen our ability to be present with our self unconditionally, and care for our wholeness, which naturally spills over into our relationships with others.

This workshop will introduce basic mindfulness awareness meditation practice and a loving kindness contemplation practice as ways to cultivate kindness to oneself, others and our world. Open to everyone! $30

Mary Campbell is a senior meditation instructor and teacher within the Shambhala-Buddhist tradition and teaches widely within Shambhala. Mary is also a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry and Mental Health and has extensive experience teaching mindfulness within health care settings.
