As I looked around the church this morning, watching grandparents and parents smile as they joined us for our Mass of Thanksgiving, it made me feel a bit sentimental here at St. Jude. Looking back at the last couple years, St. Jude School has changed and grown in all the best ways. There is so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, but three things come to mind: we are thankful for you and your family, and for our hard-working staff and parents, and for our faith in our Lord Jesus. We would not be where we are today without God's grace and your continued support.
We are thankful for you!
Whether your support for our school is through volunteering and participating, through your purchases and sponsorships, by following our journey on social media, or even just spreading the love by expressing your enthusiasm about our school, every one of you has made a difference. This means so much in the lives of all of us in our school community.
We are thankful for our team!
Every faculty member we are blessed to have with us at St. Jude School is wholly dedicated to their job. From our tremendous staff to our amazing PTG members, to our guiding pastor, Father Jim, and to the supportive church community, all have a faith-driven passion for creating a wonderful school experience for our children and families.
We are thankful for God's blessings!
God has been good to us. He has blessed us with the people and opportunities that have allowed us to grow as a school and to share our Catholic faith and traditions with our students and families daily.
St. Jude School wouldn't have had so many wonderful years without the support of people like YOU. You mean everything to this catholic school and we are so thankful you're a part of our community. We are looking forward to each and every moment this special season will bring.
We continue to keep in prayer those in our armed services and their families this Thanksgiving. We are especially thankful to all who sacrifice so much to protect our freedom.
Finally, we pray that our Lord watches over all of our families and friends in our school community. May His love and peace be with you this Thanksgiving.
