This Sunday: Origins, Part 5 - "The Struggle Is Real"
Our origin story has involved good, bad, promise, and pain. This Sunday, God's story continues through a man named Jacob who will become Israel, the very name that means "struggles with God." If you struggle, you are in good company. Read ahead in Genesis 28:10-22 and Genesis 32:22-32.
We will worship in person at 8:30 and 10:00 in our Sanctuary and online at 10:00 viaFacebook Liveandour website. Our service will include a time of "hymn sing," so come ready to call out your favorites!
It is also Communion Sunday, so if you worship with us online, we invite you to have your Communion elements ready. We will gather together in Spirit at the Lord's Table.
We just announced last week that the church was getting new floors, and it's already coming along! Areas receiving new flooring include the hallways, Connection Cove, Sanctuary Narthex, Sunday school hall and classrooms, Preschool rooms, JAM room, Joy room, and Choir room.
Go deeper on Wednesdays at 6:00PM with the Genesis Bible Study that goes along with our sermon series. Come learn together in person in our Fellowship Hall (we are still wearing masks and social distancing), or engage online from wherever you are on our Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/RobertsdaleUMC or our website at http://robertsdaleumc.com/live. You can also watch any that you missed at either of those locations or on our YouTube channel.
