Dear St Jude families and friends,

The art projects have been pouring in and we're all amazed at the talent of our students! Along with Wednesday's ART Exhibit, we have a busy week with our Canned Food Drive and Open House preparations!
 

Our 5th grade students had the chance to participate in our first ever Step Up Day! Every student was personally paired up with a Junior High student to shadow for the day. Students had the chance to rotate classes, participate in our JAG period class, have lunch and then participate in some team building exercises with Mrs. Schultze. We have a lot of exciting things going on in our Junior High and we hope that every student enjoyed their day! 

There will be a parent meeting on February 16th at 4 pm in the science lab for all 5th grade parents to learn more about our Junior High and what they can look forward to next year. We hope you can all join us!

We are collecting canned goods for our Christian Service Canned Food Drive next week!. Please bring your canned goods to campus during morning dropoff. Each class that has 100 cans by the end of the day Thursday will recieve FREE DRESS ! The class that has the most cans will get a class Gaga Pit Extra Recess as a reward! Get those cans donated next week!

Get volunteer hours each mornings by holding signs and collecting cans!

The First Annual Art Exhibit is on Wednesday, January 25th! We are not selling tickets to this event, but are gladly accepting donations for the event. 100% of proceeds go to growing the art program at our school. Donations to our art program can be made here!

We're still accepting submissions! Each student that enters will recieve a free dress ticket! All submissions need to be complete and brought to the school office no later than Monday, January 23rd. Entries must not be larger than 18”x24” and may not require any power source. Canvas, paper, wood, framed or unframed. Artist name must be written on the back of the student's artwork. Artwork will be judged based on it's display of creativity and authenticity. SJS students of all ages may enter!

Open House - January 29, 2023: We hope you can join us for our Open House following mass on January 29th! Check out the classrooms and speak with faculty and staff, enjoy refreshments and taco lunch, purchase spirit wear and watch our cheerleaders perform! Bring the kids! We will have plenty of fun activities and a scavenger hunt to win prizes and free dress tickets! Bring a friend - all are invited and a great time will be had by all!

Current students can begin to re-enroll for the 23-24 school year beginning January 29th, 2023. Registration will occur through Jupiter Ed and is due by February 17th, 2023 with a re-enrollment fee of $75 per student. This registration will guarantee your current student's spot for the 23-24 school year.

Current students can still enroll after the February 17th deadline. However, there is an increased fee of $100, and the student's spot is NOT guaranteed for the following year.

New Student Siblings - January 29th, 2023 is also the date you can register a sibling for new student consideration. Click here to learn more and prep the necessary items for his/her application. 
 

Are you interested in becoming Catholic?  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which people can question, search and inquire into the Catholic faith.  At St. Jude, members of our parish partner with those who are journeying to become fully initiated Catholics (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation).  We recognize that people are in all different places in their journey and we are here to help you in any way we can.
