January 2018

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season with family and loved ones, and are as excited as we are for 2018, a year full of promise and creativity!
A new year often means new resolutions and goals.  What are yours for this year? As a leadership team we hope to accomplish individual writing and illustrating goals, but also have goals to build up our SCBWI-NTX community, while creating new friendships and experiences with you.
We are so excited for our SCBWI-NTX events this year. Our first meeting on the 20th will welcome all new and returning members with an open critique and potluck lunch. Also, be on the lookout throughout the year for PAL events, cool new webinars, an agent’s retreat in the summer, and our exciting annual fall conference in September.
We hope you will join us in 2018 as an active part of our SCBWI-NTX family. We are grateful for your support and look forward to journeying with you in your creative endeavors.
All good things,
Your SCBWI-NTX Leadership Team
