All Harvard graduate students are invited to enter poetry, short fiction, or creative nonfiction for a chance to win cash prizes and international publication. Join the Garden Advisory Team

Love the Countway Community Garden? Join us to help it grow! The Countway Outreach Office is assembling a Garden Advisory Team to help support the mission and vision of the garden, including a number of exciting new projects in the 2022 season. We’re looking for 8-10 new members including students, faculty, and staff from the Harvard Longwood Campus and affiliate hospitals who are willing to join us for monthly Zoom meetings. Mission: Joy

Countway Cinema presents a film that serves as “a masterclass in how to create joy” in a troubled world. Join us for a virtual screening and Zoom discussion of this deeply moving and laugh-out-loud funny documentary about the unlikely friendship of Archbishop Tutu and His Holiness the Dalai Lama! Throughout Mission: JOY, these two international icons share science-backed wisdom for how to live with joy in the face of all of life’s challenges.

Countway Cuddles Pet Therapy is Back!

Feeling stressed? Come join us on the first floor of Countway Library every week for our popular Countway Cuddles pet therapy sessions! Cooper the yellow lab visits us every Monday from 12:30-1:30pm, and Bodhi the golden retriever is here every Thursday from 1:00-1:45pm. No registration is necessary; drop-ins are welcome (and lint rollers are provided)! Always check out our calendar for changes.

Exhibit Celebration

Join us to celebrate This Is Me, an exhibit at Countway that amplifies the voices of individuals living with disabilities and chronic health conditions. On Thursday, February 24th at 6:00pm we will recognize exhibit participants and celebrate their importance within our Harvard community. Many of the participants will speak about their experiences of living with a disability or their work in disability advocacy, as well as ways we all can work to make the spaces in which we interact more accessible to all. We look forward to seeing you there!
