Thank you for registering for or joining us on our Access to Finance workshop on September 1st, 2022.
Access to Finance is a critical element for enabling farmer organizations and agri-SMEs to professionalize and grow. However, many development programs fail to enable access to finance. As AMEA aims to find scalable solutions that will accelerate professionalization and enable access to finance, we organized an interactive two-hour workshop, during which AMEA members, partners, and Financial Service Providers:
- Learned about the progress and lessons from innovative programs by AMEA members and partners (AGRA, Cordaid, SCOPEinsight, Rikolto, Agriterra, Aceli Africa)
- Discussed how to develop a localized, integrated ecosystem approach that allows for farmer organizations and agri-SMEs at different levels of professionalization to access and manage the finance they need
- Discussed opportunities to collaborate to advance objectives regarding Access to Finance for farmer organizations and agri-SMEs
