Looking for Ways to Retain and Attract Qualified Employees?

Offering a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA), or Small Business HRA may be the ticket. Health benefits are invaluable in a small business's quest to hire and keep talented employees. Frequently job seekers cite benefits as being very important when considering a job offer and many would sacrifice even a higher salary for better benefits. The QSERHA may help to address this issue.

Employers with fewer than 50 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, that do not offer group health insurance, are eligible to offer health reimbursement arrangements to their employees. QSEHRA is a company-funded benefit that reimburses employees for qualified medical expenses - tax free - up to a set limit. This is not a group health plan, it is not subject to ACA coverage requirements, and is not subject to income or employment taxes. Consult your insurance provider to see if this program is right for your company.
