As the congregation continues its journey through Ephesians, Children and Family Ministry dives into Ephesians 4:32 for the last 4 weeks of summer. I hope your family is finding meaningful ways to practice faith formation at home.
Memory Verse Focus:
"and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you."Ephesians 4:32
Random Acts of Kindness Challenge:
1) Initiate random acts of kindness in your family and community! Decide as individuals and as a family on a few random acts of kindness to perform this week and make a plan to do them.
2) Take note when someone is kind to you.
3) Anything goes as long as it spreads kindness -- leave encouraging messages to your neighbors using sidewalk chalk, write a letter to a distant family member, smile at a stranger, plant a flower, etc.
4) If you need ideas and inspiration, use your favorite search engine and search "random acts of kindness."
Conversation starter: What was the last kind thing you did for someone? How does it make you feel to be the recipient of an act of kindness?
